On 31 August 2019, Assupol officially opened its latest branch in Marapyane – a newly relocated, modern premises that gives the community ease of access to Assupol services.
The original branch in Marapyane was opened in 2005 and was set for relocation following plans for a new construction project in the area.
“This new branch is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to serve the community of Marapyane. It is not only a way to motivate Assupol staff, but also serves to ensure that clients have better access to services for their various financial needs,” said Edward Mngoma, Group Sales Executive at Assupol.
As part of the branch opening, on 5 September 2019, Assupol donated school shoes to 363 learners from Mmaduma Moloto Primary School and Potsanyana Primary School. The schools were nominated by members of the Bakgatla ba Mocha Tribal Authority whose support was instrumental to the opening.
“Assupol is a strong believer in its obligation to serve the nation in addressing the socio-economic challenges our communities are faced with. We are proud to serve the community of Marapyane in this way,” concludes Mngoma.
